Process

During our first visit, we will simply get to know each other and gain a better understanding of your goals and what is important to you.  Whether it's initially or during a subsequent meeting, we will gather the documents necessary for us to provide you with an accurate analysis of your financial picture using web-based financial planning software. It's not until we've completed a full scale review of the preliminary financial plan that we start to make recommendations.

The comprehensive financial planning we mention refers to advice and recommendations in the areas of:

  • Retirement Planning

  • Education Funding

  • Lump Sum Distribution

  • Estate Planning

  • Portfolio Review

  • Life Insurance

  • Brokerage Services

  • Written Planning Analysis

  • Business Continuation Planning

  • Company Benefit Plans

Our advice for these services is predominantly advisory fee-based.  Where a different fee approach is required to address a certain goal, we are clear and transparent in explaining.

While the investment, financial planning, and risk management items listed above play a crucial role in the work we do for people, an ever-growing importance for us is placed on life planning.  We often take part in conversations that involve major decisions for our clients.  Being an objective sounding board, offering second opinions, connecting them with other professional services associates, and helping them navigate through uncertainty is a critical part of our role.
